So three billion US Dollars then?

That is a tidy sum .... I am trying to grasp just how much that is by calculating how many bottles of good rum, so this for instance:

So at $81.12/unit (hint: its cheap - buy it before your neighbour 😉), then that would mean 36.982.248 bottles.  Or 25.887.573 Liters of fine rum.

But divided by the US population of about 329,468,094 people, that would only mean  0,1122 bottles per capita ... now I realize that some might be too young or have some religious belief that precludes the pleasure of tasting it.

So leaving out the too young as those below 24 years of age:

0–14 years: 18.62% (male 31,255,995/female 29,919,938)

15–24 years: 13.12% (male 22,213,952/female 21,137,826)

So a total of 104.527.711‬

Means a population of 224.940.383 who can enjoy a glass, and thus an average of 0,1777 bottles per capita, so lets round that off to 0,2 to account for those who do not like it.

That is just one large glass of Rum for everyone ... food for thought ...
