apprichm
So I upgraded from 4.0something to SB Pro PE 4.162 and that worked fine......UNTIL i patched that with 4.163 and the install failed. I uninstalled 4.162 and it left what you see below: Re-installation of 4.162 FAILED because these filed could not be over written....and yes I tried to delete these files as ADMINISTRATOR with no joy. Any Ideas....anyone?
Major duck
Hi Try Install in another library or go in the library and delete the files in there before the rest that sometimes work for me MD

Members Ssnake
If you cannot delete a file as Administrator, you may first need to take possession of it (wight-click, Properties, Security, Owner). Administrators aren't allowed everything by Windows default, BUT they have the privilege to assume ownership of everything, and as the owner you may then do whatever you like (including file deletion).
TSe419E
I had files I wanted to delete and it wouldn’t let me do it (I’m the admin) and it wouldn’t let me take ownership. ???
Gibsonm
Sorry I should have provided an update - the issue was resolved earlier today, during the session I had with him. Move along, nothing more to see here.
