Not really broken, more a case of "still broken". The calendar is still out of whack. TGIF which is on Saturday afternoons here is still displayed as being on Friday afternoon. Unsure if the upgrade was meant to address this or not.
Gibsonm
Sean, I've noticed that the "tags" are now almost unreadable. For example: Edited July 5, 2021 by Gibsonm
Gibsonm
Also from that post embedded above, there used to be a graphic at the end of the post which is now just a large white space - but if you click on it, a black square appears to open (suggesting the graphic is still there, just no longer displayed)? Members Ssnake
Yeah, the tags are now in white text on ivory background. Used to be in the standard red that we're applying everywhere. Don't see the "white space" thing, though.

At the very bottom of the quoted thread you'll see this: We continue the use of TeamViewer so people without the Steel Beasts software can connect and see and hear what we see and hear (looking over our shoulder if you like). Team Viewer available here This maybe a suitable vehicle for people to see what the software is all about (you can even use it on a Mac), without having to invest in even a short time limited copy. Anyway we'll see how it goes. So if you are interested, visit our web site https://www.bganzac.org and sign up. Between the red writing and here is a white space that actually contains a graphic file, that used to be displayed.
Members Ssnake
Ah, https://www. steelbeasts.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png Seems to be a single white pixel, possibly now embedded in a "here comes an image" frame or something.

I cant read those without highlighting by mouse Seems pretty useless to me to be white agaisnt ivory. I did like Red... it made me think of Esims
Members Ssnake
Well, seems like it's red on ivory now. You can think of us again.
Administrators Sean Posted July 7, 2021 Author Administrators Share Posted July 7, 2021 I was able to fix the tags, but I can't make out what was supposed to be at the bottom of Gibson's thread by looking at the original post.

I went back about 12 months and found an entry that showed it: When I paste it in it is displayed. When I hit save it is no longer displayed.
Gibsonm
and of course that is repeated above. The image is a simple graphic file, basically an enlarged copy of the icon to the left (Red Kangaroo, white Silver Fern on a Khaki background). If you look here (scroll to the bottom) you will see it displayed: Edited July 7, 2021 by Gibsonm
Administrators Sean Posted July 9, 2021 Author Administrators Share Posted July 9, 2021 Got it. Looking at it now.
Administrators Sean Posted July 13, 2021 Author Administrators Share Posted July 13, 2021 I can't see the original example where it failed any more, but this is something to consider: When I drag and drop the image from explorer, it works. When I try to paste the same image from flickr via link, it tells me that I can't paste http images, and that it has to be https. If you change your flickr image link to use https, does it work then?
Members Ssnake
Yeah, the forum software no longer wants to accept http links, which is kinda stupid for pictures, even though I can understand from which angle they are coming.
Administrators Sean Posted July 14, 2021 Author Administrators Share Posted July 14, 2021 There is a way to allow http links again, but the result will be browsers may mark any such page as "dangerous" by removing the lock icon in the address bar on that page.

Lumituisku
I'm curious. Could this be reason as well why some pictures in wiki do not show up anymore?
