Im trying to figure out how to indipendantly move the commanders CITV around but when i put it in MAN I cant move it around like i can in the leopard with my mouse, am i missing something?

From  the briefing text for M1A2  tutorial scenario 'M1A2 TC A Basic Tank Commander Controls':

Quote

Manual scan (MAN SCAN) mode allows the commander to manually scan or observe the terrain independent of gun and turret movement. When CITV is in MAN SCAN mode and commander depresses palm switch ("p" key ) on Commander's Control Handle Assembly , CITV operates independent of GPS, gun and hull movements.

...in other words, on M1A2 you need to hold 'P' key pressed in order to pan CITV around.

Please check in 'Controls', what keys or buttons are assigned to 'Palm switch (default).

Default assignments are 'P', Joystick button #3 and middle mouse button
