Rotareneg Posted April 18, 2021 Share Posted April 18, 2021 (edited) Attached is a version of the map with a wadi terrain on the streambed, so it should be essentially impassable as the wadi terrain is set to be low traction/high drag making it a tank trap. If you want the wadi terrain to be a bit more forgiving unless vehicles actually fall into a deep part you can edit the Streambed drag and/or traction to make it less slippery. Map 4b - Koen.7z 400.82 kB · 1 download Thank you, Rotareneg. I found out now that the ground type "Streambed" has the effect to deepen the ground. So I'll use this to further adapt the wadi. Rediscovering the art of map making: nice. A detail pls: why are there under "Edit Theme" the 4 small boxes: "is water, is wadi, is snow, is dirt" ? Members Ssnake Posted April 18, 2021 Members Share Posted April 18, 2021 "is water" has the special property of, well, receiving a water surface layer and showing up as blue in the map "is wadi" creates an artificial depression in the terrain "is dirt" is the texture we use for earthworks whenever you dig something "is snow" creates an extra surface layer in winter themes, its depth depending on the theme settings. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Status of the work on this scenario: 1. Currently re-reading the book & analysing how to turn it into a scenario. Will take some time 2. Next step: embellish the map 3.
