"Operation Able Archer"

1) Situation:  

 

Visibility is limited to 3000. Ground conditions are dry and dusty, cross country mobility will be fast.

Roads should not be your primary method of mobility.

The Enemy has move into position and is preparing to attack east across the border to take over the Kanuim Area of Operation.

Kanuim VU mission command must prepare an attack west towards Objective Archer where the Enemy Leader is located, destroy all enemy encounter and take over the enemy outpost.

Kanium Mechized forces must clear out the enemy outpost and rescue our friendly Sniper's that were capture a few weeks ago. Intel reports that they are being held inside a enemy MT-LB within the outpost. From what we know if the enemy MT-LB is destroyed then it will kill the Hostages (Snipers).

We need to located that MT-LB and recover the Snipers and bring the to the Kanium AA area which they have collected important intel on the Enemy Leader and this will call in a UAV for jamming the enemies GPS signals.

 

a) Enemy Forces:

 

Known enemy force operating in your area: Havoc Krasnovian Motorized Rifle Regiment. Intelligence estimates a Regiment enemy forces to be composed of approximate strength of 3 Battalions of BMP-3's, supported by a Battalion of T-tanks.

Your Companies will conduct a attack towards the Enemy outpost and rescue our Sniper's. Our Snipers need to be escorded back to Kanium AA for a Intel debriefing. You will also need to conduct an attack towards Objective Archer to regain control of Objective Archer.

 

3) Execution:

 

Command must determine their own plan of execution.

A little suggestion for a future scenario. Wondering if we can have a scenario where we have no external view of our own vehicle. With that said how complicated would that be for a mech inf platoon?

From my understanding this feature does not work in multiplayer. The exterior view disabled only works in single player mode

F8 is the "default" view in multiplayer and is hard coded to be "on" regardless of mission design settings

 

We reached the same conclusion after checking it out

You should try multicrew xP   Staying in your tank and role gets whole new meaning and immersion. :P     Doing F8    is almost out of question if youre being depended on.
