Assassin 7 Posted May 27, 2021 Share Posted May 27, 2021 (edited) So I decided to turn the Operation Iron Fists into a 1975 year. Got some questions and could use some advice. 1. So for the Germany side I put in Fuchs as the recons with Marder's and Leopards 1A5's using the Ammunition from 1975. Would this be a good combination? 2. For the US side I used M113A3's and M60's with the Ammunition that is close to 1975. 3. Was thinking about using the shot kal as one of the triggered platoons, would this be a good option? or something else? 4. For the Soviets I am using the T-64A's, bmp-1's, btr-70's and the T-55's 1975. Also will be using the T-62's with the Ammunition close to 1975. Is there any other vehicles that you would use? 5. Did the Soviets have ICM in 1975? currently I have a crap load of ICM in this mission for the Soviets which is quite effective. 6. would you like the F8 view for single player in this mission? 7. What other recommendations would you like in this 1975 mission? Thank you for your time and do appreciate it. Grenny Posted May 27, 2021 Share Posted May 27, 2021 1. Nah not really. The Fuchs was part of Jäger BN or Recon BN...so either be pure light infantry battle taxi, or paired up with Luchs vehicles. If you want to add BN level recon, let the Marders+ dismounts do it, or add a few GD vehicles with scout teams for the BN recon platoon...can make you a template if you need one. In 1975 the Leopard 1A3 would be the thing. The Leopards 1AS is a good representation of that...but It'd be sans TIS system (thats realistic, but I don't know if it fits you sce idea) For the Grenadierplt...I can also to a template. they would nedd a mix of lePzFst and CG+ MILAN teams br Ronin 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
