Your equipment: Leopardo 2E, Centauro B1, VEC-M1. Enemy equipment: T-72A, BTR60, Technicals. Time limit: 90 mins. SITUATION: Enemy: - A Rebel Supply Area has been identified vic. grid 781132. - A T-72 company and a BTR 60 infantry platoon have been deployed in defense. - Intelligence has provided approximate locations for Tanks and Supply Area (See Map). - The tanks are expected to conduct a defense North of Phase Line Luis. - The infantry are expected to closely defend the Supply Area. Own: You are in command of Charlie Squadron Armored Cavalry: - 4x Leopardo 2E tanks. - 4x Centauro B1 light tanks. - 4x VEC-M1 reconnaissance vehicles - 4x 2 man scout teams with JIM-LR - Medical VAMTAC is available at HQ. - Resupply is not available at this time. MISSION OBJECTIVES: 1) Secure Ridge and set up an Observation Post. 2) Find and Destroy Tank Company vic. grid 797131. 3) Find and Destroy Supply Area vic. grid 781132. 4) Search the Supply Area for intel materials. EXECUTION: At your discretion. FIRES: Fire Support for your squadron is limited to: - 2 Tubes 120mm mortar with total 60xHE and 28xSmoke. - 2 Tubes 155mm with total 24xHE, 12xSmoke and 12x SMArt sensor fused top-attack anti armour munitions dispensers. - 2 CAS airstrikes of 2x 500lb JDAMs. Time limit: - Complete all objectives within 90 minutes. Scoring: - 10 Points for Ridge captured. - 10 Points for Tanks destroyed. - 10 Points for Supply Area destroyed. - 10 Points for Supply Area searched. - 60 points for survival of your forces: 90% survival = 60 points 50% survival = 30 points 10% survival = 0 points - Victory = 70 points. - Major Victory = 80 points. Mission will end automatically if: - All objectives completed. OR - Heavy losses of your forces. Notes: - Start time 16:15 Local. - Weather is clear and dry, visibility 3.8KM. - To complete the Supply Area objective all vehicles must be destroyed. - To complete the intel search objective at least 1 vehicle or infantry must remain in the Supply Area and not be under fire for at least 2 minutes.
