marky657
I noticied that the codemeter was showing up with a drive letter. I also noticed that during the game it was freezing and stalling for a few seconds or a minute occastionally. then It was resume. The green light on the stick was staying on longer like a thumb drive. Removed the drive letter with disk managment and I still have the same issue.
Mirzayev
Showing up with a drive letter is normal. Is the game freezing or stalling, or are you talking about the CodeMeter's green light? If the green light, that is normal. Mine often doesn't even light up after having it plugged in to a USB hub for a while.
marky657
My light is on all the time and it never used to do that. The game stalls sometimes and It never did that much before either
Members Ssnake
What color? Anyway, other than updating the CM runtime (get it from here: https://www.wibu.com/us/support/user/downloads-user-software.html), it's time to whip out the diagnostic tool. - Plug in the CM stick - Open the Windows Start menu - type "cmdu" to find CmDUST, the diagnostic utility - Run it - When done, it'll open a new window of the Windows File Explorer - There, find "CmDust-Result.log" - Attach that file to an email to me (my mail address is not very subtly hidden in my forum Avatar picture)
Members Ssnake
Don't post such diagnostic files on the internet, they may contain sensitive information. That's why I recommended email.
Members Ssnake
https://www.wibu.com/support/user/user-software.html Anyway, try the new CM runtime version 7.50, see link above. With a bit of luck the EBL Trace error will go away, and the CM stick will continue working reliably.
marky657
The site says 7.40b, is that the same as 7.50?

Members Ssnake
I thought 7.50 was out already, but 7.40b will do.
marky657
Well, I downloaded 7.40b which I already had done. Prior to installing it I checked the programs and noticed another version of the codemeter software. So there was two versions, one older. I uninstalled both of them, then reinstalled 7.40b. I ran a couple of tank range engagements, and it froze again, but this time for only a fraction of a second or so. One tank range it did nothing at all. Now you might think that it is a hardware/harddrive issue, which is possible, but I don't think so. I have never experienced this behavior before.
Members Ssnake
Observe it for a few more days please, then send me another CmDUST log. It may be that we'll have to replace it.
marky657
Okay, I think the meter stick is faulty, because the light on the stick seldom goes out. Nver have seen it act like that before. Which is green by the way. I have had this stick for over ten or fifteen years or so.
