Badger
when looking through the t-72b3 tis and taking reference of the azimuth...then aligning hull to same azimuth and moving forward, the axis is different in the direction of travel (based on white dot reference direction on the tank clock). This is really confusing when taking a desired tangent of travel. You think your going one way but in the tis your going another. Its disorientating. Is this how its supposed to be? Badger
I just noticed that this only happens from the gunner seat...commander seat is as it is in other tanks.
TankHunter
The white dot is indicative of where the users "eyes" are looking relative to the tank. Given that the TIS display for the B3 is located to the left, approximately at the 11 or 10 o'clock position, this is WAD.
Jartsev
White dot shows not some optics line of sight, but a direction you are facing. You would see the same with any other vehicle(DF90 or CV90 for example) where display unit is not in your direct front.
