Thorn
Hello everyone, I've been able to use the map tool to download and install maps but I've found some maps I'm interested in that don't have the map tool function ability and can only be downloaded. These are usually .RAR or .ZIP or .7z files. I know how to unzip them but where do I put them? Is there a maps folder or a mods folder they go in? Thanks for any help with this. I'm new and learning.
Gibsonm
They need to reside in (assuming you are running Windows 10): C:\ProgramData\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\maps\packages Notes: 1. May not be 😄 (depending on where you determined it was to be installed during the installation process). 2. Windows does its useful "helpful" steps of hiding the ProgramData folder by default.
Thorn
I'm using Windows 11. I don't have that directory structure though. Mine is SB Pro PE and I don't have a maps or packages folder under that directory.
Gibsonm
Its not "Program Files". It is not the folder where the software installs by default. It will be whatever Windows 11 renamed ProgramData to be
