Hedgehog
Hello I have noticed when testing in Mission editor that I seem to have "Quick Fire Artillery" All avalible artillery types -minus Smart munitions With minimal response times And with a 200 x 200 meter square and it completely bypasses the call for fire dialog. AI spotting seems to have acess to ICM arty too, even when it isn't in play. Is this normal? And how do I stop it?
Abraxas
If you script RED you can also script the fire support, i.e. ICM = 0 !
Members Ssnake
If you're referring to the "right-click, new artillery fire here, go" type of insta-boom: To stop it, select the flashing box, hit delete.
Hedgehog
Raised this with @Gibsonm the other day. The behaviour described above is normal behaviour for Mission/Scenario Editor testing.
Moderators Solution Volcano Posted December 7, 2022 Moderators Solution Share Posted December 7, 2022 Yes, also at the map view you can turn off test mode from a selection in that menu. This removes all the special abilities (like being able to toggle between sides, and instant artillery, moving graphics around, etc).

In test mode if you still want "normal" artillery; place a refpoint on map then select call for fire from the drop down menu and choose that refpoint 👍
