Attack of a reinforced tank company

Jan '91

In the late night it started snowing and the Brig. Commander decided to start a counterattack along the river Haune to the north, because of the snowing the visibility is very low and the red forces have no thermal imaging devices. The red forces are forced to stay in defense and can't continuing the attack to the south.

The TankBtn 74 (PzBtl 74), is attacking with the 2nd TankComp, reinforced with 2 IFV-Platoons and 1 Engineer Section. They got the task to attack to the north, cross the river of Haune, win the OBJ and destroy the left red forces in this area.

The InfBtn 72 (PzGrenBtl 72), on the right side of the TankBtn 74, is also attacking with 1 reinforced InfComp to the north, pass HÜNFELD and win the OBJ near by MALGES.

We need minimum 3 guys for each tank platton and minimum 2 guys for each IFV platoon

All in all we need at least 13 players

Maybe having a Manning list would be helpful here?

If so, I have an idea. What about using Google Drive Spreadsheet ("Google Excel")?
You can create it in your own (virtual) Drive, post a link in your event-announcement and set the sharing rules the way you want (link-visitor as a viewer, a commentor or an editor).
It might take a bit of time to create (I can send you a template, let me know), but it should be a lot easier to maintain than having a Manning list here in a forum.

Anyways, I'm really looking forward to this event. It sounds very interesting (and difficult)! :D

Happy to fit in where need given the limitations of:

1. No recording (I presume this will be streamed as a premiere, rather than, ad hoc event).

2. Very limited German - so I guess whichever Platoon will be the "non German speakers".

Happy to drive the Engineers / Pioneers - if that needs a human.

You can put me in the English speaking Platoon. I can be a "backup" Platoon Leader for case when noone else wants this role.

Or You can give me one of the AI Mechanized Infantry Platoons. I don't have a problem managing it.

It is really up to You. I'm happy to be in any of these roles, as needed :)

After we've played this scenario, i will upload it in 911-Forum. It may take some days. Can happen that i will make some changes before, if there've been some problems in this script.

Info: The entire Briefing is in german.

You wouldnt happen to have a link to your site?

Just be aware that for me at least the site is totally in German, even after I click on the Union Jack icon (which I assume is meant to take me to the English version).

There are webpage translators. At least Google has one. Not ideal, but it should do the job.

Now I am not sure, if it will work just if I would post already translated webpage link, so try this first:

https://forum-steelbeasts-org.translate.goog/forum/?_x_tr_sl=de&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en

If it doesn't work, you might have to use this link and manually fill the URL, FROM and TO:

http://itools.com/tool/google-translate-web-page-translator

I understand.

However most sites that have icons for different languages already have links to the English (or whatever version).

Clicking on the icon just sends you to another URL.

The German version might be: https://forum.steelbeasts.org/forum/

The English version might be: https://forum.steelbeasts.org/eng/forum/ (or similar)
