Vacquero
Got the upgrade, installed it. Tried to start it... and it won't open. I get "Generic Application error. Switching to the reference rasterizer, a software device that implements the entire direct3d 3d feature set, but runs very slowly." And after OK'ing that I get "Warning:Nothing will be rendered. The reference rendering device was selected, but your computer only has a reduced-functionality reference device installed. Install the direct SDK to get the full reference device." I've been having problems updating my graphics card drivers as well. I have a Radeon X1600 512mb PCI-E on the 6.14 drivers.

Administrators Sean Posted April 19, 2009 Administrators Share Posted April 19, 2009 Which one? There's 10 different ones - they release a new one every few months. Did you install it off the cd, or get it from somewhere else?
