Wrong capbadge.I was on exercise in Nova Scotia whilst serving in HMS Hermes, went right up to Montreal after Endex with a stop over at Quebec on the way down - 2 fantastic cities, very different but both brilliant places to visit. One of my mates was a Naval exchange pilot and he was Canadian (ex 42nd Highlanders) - he showed us around.Fantastic country, really great folk - closest I ever came to jumping ship - just like my Uncle Bill did in 1912, and he never came back - I know why.She was from Montreal, a very happy 2 weeks, a week in each city, she came down to Quebec for the second week !!!!
