Panta
A few days ago, my joystick suffered a most horrible fate. As the trigger button ceased to work, I opened it and when I assembled all the pieces back, I had TWO joysticks instead, none of them working. :redface:Thus, I conducted a search for a replacement and all I found was a fancy 12-button device that works so bad that aiming my gun with it is a pain precisely "there"... :sonic:Has any of you tried any game pads -console-style- for gunnery? Please advise,tx, Panta
andym
I am using a PS2 style game pad for a lot of games,it suits flight sims a treat. Also you have a lot of buttons you can configure as you like.I prefer it over a joystick to be honest, also it was only £4.99!
Hackworth
Panta, some people, a few of them bad-ass (Rogue Snake), use their mouse to gun. i prefer a joystick, but that's only because i've always used one. a mouse is actually faster, but requires some accustomization.
th3flyboy
If anyone got gamepads to work, please fill me in how, so I can tank while on the road or at school.
Steel_Hamster
I have used a Saitek pad. It was great for moving the turret and lasing but leading was impossible because of the ketchupeffect so I wen´t back to mouse and keyboard.

Panta
Well, I bought a Logitech game pad with ten buttons, installed it and I can say that it runs perfectly, but the smallness of the included mouse makes following a target a little difficult in occasions. As I cannot find a good joystick here, I guess I will stick to the classic combination of keyboard, joystick and mouse (the last for aiming the gun) Cheers, Panta
