The first panel shows an Army infantryman up to his chin in water, in a foxhole; the caption says 'Man, this sucks'. The second shows a Marine, also in a foxhole which has also been turned into a one-man swimming pool, declaring 'God I love how much this sucks'. The third shows a sailor looking though a porthole at something happening on some far shore and remarking 'It sure looks like it sucks over there'. The last shows an airman in a BAQ, carpeted, with a TV, outraged and shouting 'What! No cable!
