MarkShot
I have SBPPE, but I must admit that SB1 still is pretty cool, but for the graphics.I was just curious if anyone is actually playing both? Thanks.
Gibsonm
Nope. SB1 is on the machine but hasn't been touched for years (almost decades).
scowlmovement
Well, until I am able to purchase SB Pro, I'm happily playing SB Gold. Still a darn good game.
MarkShot
I have version 1.226 which was upgraded from a version a bought retail in 2001. What's the difference between that and SB1 Gold? Thanks.
GH_Lieste
SB Gold installs the patched version (and has a single missing map that has a mini-patch). Other than that and possible disc-protection schemes by various publishers, there is no difference.
scowlmovement
Yeah, what he said.
DemolitionMan
Yeah SB Gold still rocks. Just got my ass kicked by a reinforced T-80 battalion..confronting them with just a single Leo2 platoon was probably not very balanced. An Abrams platoon however...(yeah that really worked out)
Members Ssnake
I have version 1.226 which was upgraded from a version a bought retail in 2001. What's the difference between that and SB1 Gold?SB Gold also included a large number of user-made scenarios (which were, and probably still are, available for download here on this site).
Sabot_Up
I am still using SB Gold until I pony up the money for Pro PE.
