When will we see figures in our AFVs?Or have them evacuate form their vehicles, the ones that survived depending on where they were hit.

Also how about being able to give Company and above commands such as company wedge ect.

Will, as the Arty model improves ,will there be a load out for Arty such as the AFVs.ex..10 HE,20 ICM,15 DPICM,2 COPPERHEAD,5 FASCAM,2 GAS....ECT.w/ a resupply vehicle.what exactly does the arty placeholder do?

What is the ARTY loadout for a Coy?and above?

Plus, about two microseconds after incorporating the feature, someone somewhere will ask why they are not able to make the escapees shoot at the enemy.

Shortly thereafter someone will mention that the bailees are highly-trained specialists who are supposed to 'exit, stage left' if their ride is no longer mission-capable; and should not be considered in game terms as potential tank-killers.

Thirty-eight microseconds after having incorporated the feature, there will start a moderate to large flame-war where competing parties declare that this was exactly how it was done, vice the side declaring that anyone who did it this way was criminally-insane/operating outside doctrine/communist/capitalist, etc.

Great flame-war, not particularly-useful to SB.

Not trying to be nasty (perish the thought!), but even before having 3D crews, I'd like to have transportable infantry/support weapons!

I'd like to have ATGM/AGL teams being carried by APCs, for instance...:smilelove-1:

Cheers,

Panta

Panta,

Sorry perhaps I misunderstood but AFAIK you can already have Mech Inf, ATGM and AGL teams transportable by your choice of APC / MICV / IFV.

You add a Mech PL and it comes with the vehicles and Infantry.

Give this grouping a bunch of waypoints with "scout" commands and the vehicles will stop, the grunts get off, they clear for a few metres, get back on and the PL continues to the next waypoint.

I'm also pretty sure that if the APC suffers a M-Kill the grunts will get out and continue on foot (of course if its a K-Kill then not many get out).

Is this the sort of thing you are after - in which case its already here. :)

Well, I am pretty sure, I have checked it this very afternoon, that when you "buy" a vehicle, it already comes with its own dismounts, which are NOT support weapons. Those you have to purchase separately and as they are not linked to any vehicle, they insist in walking (the silly little bastards!).

Therefore, if your APCs don't have ATGMs as partt of their own weaponry (already installed), your grunts will have to defend themselves with the shoulder-launched AT weapons, which is a pity. :decu:

Maybe you are referring to the military version, I ignore if that version allows transporting support weapons or not.

Cheers,

P.

Well, yes and no. Obviously the main request is to be able to transport support weapons (and their crews), but I also would like to be able to carry squads or half squads/tank-hunter teams in APCs or lorries.

As you can see, other than cryptic, I am ambitious!

Well as I said you can carry squads already.

They just need to be a Mech PL to start with.

There's is nothing stopping you from choosing "one" from the number of vehicles choice and that will give you a squad/section and its own APC.

Leg infantry being picked up APC from another unit is a different matter.

Yes , that I know, but I would like to have the following options as well:

1-To be able to deploy the infantry already on the ground whilst creating a scenario, to position them where I want to and to assign them their specific weapons.

2-To be able to transport men-carried ATGMs (Dragons, Milans, AT-5s, etc) on APCs, as part of the company support weapons, like in real life. For instance, M-113-equipped infantry platoons carried LAWs AND Dragons/Javelins, etc).

3-To be able to carry diverse kind of cargo (including infantry) on lorries, other then abstract points.

As the game is right now, an APC company whose vehicles do not carry ATGMs by themselves is defenceless against any sort of medium-heavy armor, even if they have enough time to set up an ambush.
