Furia
This mission that can be played either as a Cooperative or Single player, offers a dynamic scenario where Mission Leader have the option to activate up to 3 different scenarios and select one of the 2 different routes to complete the mission thus offering many different ambushes and challenges that allow this mission to be played several times and having each time different challenges and sittuations. (Currently the mission would offer up to 6 different scenarios) This mission is oriented to those players that know how to operate reccon and Infantry Combat Vehicles, to make the max of them while avoiding to expose them to unnecesary risks. Here comes the Briefing and Intel Pizarro Platoon Training scenario 1) STATUS: a) Enemy: Consisting of irregular insurgent forces that most in cases are composed of infantry units, civilian armed vehicles "technical" although it is possible to find some type old BMP armored units. b) Own Forces: 1/A platoon equiped with Pizarro vehicles as well and their mounted infantry squads equipped with UGV. Also in this sector are operating units assigned to the FARP Lemon and Orange as well as some allied military traffic in the area. We have CAS avalaible and at your dispossal if needed. c) Mision Notes: The mision offers two different routes to reach the objective. Also, before initiating movement, the mision leader should activate one of the 2 possible scenarios using one of the 2 activators avalaible, thus activating a different set of ambushes and combat situations on each case and allowing you to play this mision several times facing new challenges. d) Personal Print Head: This is a training scenario to help to develop proper procedures and tactics of road patrol with the Pizarro ICV when you will have to face different threats. It is important to note that in this mission, enemy forces have a certain number of AT missiles as well as certain vehicles with the ability to kill Pizarro. The mision objective is to patrol the road so the Platoon must travel along the selected route, however you must be alert for ambush points and suspicious sittuations. The use of dismounted infantry can be very helpful for the mission success but you must avoid exposing them to unnecesary risks. In case of one of your vehicles got damaged you will have then avalaible on both FARPS one Recovery vehicle. Also on both FARPS you have logistic support. 2) MISSION: Platon 1/A must depart SIERRA Point proceeding along either Route 34 or Route 43 patrol such road until arriving to Objective LIMA. To consider that the mission a success at least 2 Pizarros point must reach LIMA point. At mision start, mission leader must activate either Scenario 1 or 2 and decide whether to proceed via Route 34 or Route 43. Also it is possible to activate at the same time Scenarios 1 and 2 but be aware this would rise the mission difficulty level. 3) Implementation: 3) LOGISTICS: The local FARP have avalaible repair, fuel and ammunition vehicles. In case a Pizarro vehicle is inmovilized, the M88A1 recovery vehicles would be available (controllable) to be used by the player. 5) CREDITS: This scenario uses a part of the excellent Terrain Map created by CharlieB for his map CONVOY ESCORT Comments, critics, suggestions and ideas are VERY WELCOMED!! Hope you enjoy it. The mission is already avalaible on the Downloads area (Multiplayer Cooperative Medium) Although it can be also nicely played in single Player Mode
