Sorry, not a Beta Tester (where do I send my CV? ) but glad to see it mounted on both the Bushmaster and the Type II ASLAV.

Can I assume that as it made it onto the Type II ASLAV, that it can also be mounted on the CS variant?

No chance of a 40mm mount to compliment the 0.50” one, I suppose?

Actually, no. It's a good point though, but it'll have to wait until later.

You could see in the ITEC video that the Lemur control handles are almost identical to the CV90/35's with a plethora of buttons. That makes it convenient in real life, but slightly more complicated with mouse and keyboard.

Here's a picture of AFV Sim's Lemur RWS handle in use at ITEC, as used for training by the Danes,

there are seventeen functions on that handle :shocked:

Today's special is the Lemur remote weapon station, shown here on a variety of vehicles. It was pretty fun to play with at the ITEC, and the one or other video has shown it in action already (your shooting needs some improvement though, Daskal).

Are all the buttons and switches on the gunner's screen usable, and do they correspond to those on the real (or AFVSim's) handle, or are they in addition to them?

Ah cool, so now there is M113A1, M113A3 and M113G3 (+with Lemur... is this in operational use in G-land?)... More options for mission makers! Lemur sure does look nice, we got a couple of vehicle types with RWS too and say a Piranha 8x8 isn't far from AMV (in version 2.6x? )...

That RWS is without a doubt one of the coolest addons to SB to date. It makes all the vehicles you can add it too feel brand new. The mech infantry guys are going to love it.

It can be quite hard to keep situational awareness with the Lemur.. your field of view is quite small, and if you're sitting in a MAN SX45, driving through a village (possibly) infested with insurgents, it can be quite a job covering all possible angles..

But at least now you can shoot back while in a truck

To make it fully complete, of course. Though ATM I am thinking of using LeopardAS1s as stand ins for the Chieftan and M60A1 if I do make those kinds of missions.

No. They must be earned. One option is to participate in certain events, e.g. the Scenario Design Contests.
