ottoramsaig
Just wondering how many Order of Saint George tankers we have here. The Order of Saint George is an award given to US tank Crewmemners that exceed in the Armor of Excellence program. It actually comes with Knight hood:)
3Star
Bronze here. It's really given these days as an 'attaboy' for service more than anything else. I'm not convinced the Armor Association is particularly picky, after all, they need the money and advertising.NTM
DemonWhite2
I have the new and improved Black one. It's geared towards tanker or scout vehicle commanders who have not yet been branch certified as a platoon sergeant (i.e. not eligable for the Bronze). I'm currently on the 2 tank in my platoon but was submitted and recieved the Black for service in Iraq (3 deployments so far). And yes, I was knighted by our Squadron Commander.
