Moderators Volcano Posted October 7, 2010 Moderators Share Posted October 7, 2010 I am not seeing that in a few run troughs I just made on various tanks. Could you tell us what vehicle you are using?
desertowl
I came across this behavior in the leo2a5 and strv122.maybe I will run the range with some other vehicle and see if the pattern repeats itself.
desertowl
The problem does not consists in the M1A1. also, i think there is a glitch in the thermal sight low mag markers (see attached pic).
Members Ssnake
The latter depends on the actual screen resolution. Not much can be done about it in the way how the rendering is currently implemented.

What spoken language are you using?
desertowl
I am using English, but the problem seems more like an IFF related. As for the thermal sight, in the M1A1 it appears fine.
GH_Lieste
You probably pressed 'h'. It can be useful to prevent the TC calling for the slower HESH/HE-T rounds in some tanks - hitting a moving APC at 2500m with these can be problematic and the TC doesn't have correct logic for selection of ammunition by range and moving status, only opting for HE of some description against trucks and APCs, and AP only when the target is obscured by foliage.Opting to retain APFSDS ammunition in the range though using this method does remove the TC's spotting abilities and will cause him to prompt cease fire after each shot taken regardless of outcome.
