Gray Scale Map

It was supposed to come back, but we couldn't keep it the way it was originally made. SB1 maps had no more than 100m height variation across the entire map (8 bit height resolution) which corresponeded just nicely with an eight bit greyscale color coding. Since then we have gone to a 16 bit height resolution, so if the color is still supposed to indicate minor height variations, we need to come up with something different - e.g. a pseudo-logarithmic scale or something.

And that ... well, it always had to take a backseat in the past five years. We never found the time to address this.
