JohnO
I read somewhere that the Germans cross attach units for example, Each TkBn usually trades one coy for a MechInfCoy from a MechInfBn and that they are not mixed below plt level. Is that correct? With the help from Garry Owens, finished building the PzBrig 21 units (see screenshot). Will start building the OPFOR today.
CharlieB
Its called Battlegrouping in the British Army. Means you have a balance of capabilities within each.I would not assume that the Germans do anything different.

Administrators Sean Posted February 11, 2011 Administrators Share Posted February 11, 2011 Is all that going to be in one scenario?
JohnO
Is all that going to be in one scenario? No but thats a good question. Thats why I was asking about cross attach units. Its going to be PzGrenBtl (-) with one tank coy attach from the PzBtl.

Is that correct?Yes. For combat forces, the smallest maneuver unit usually is the platoon (exceptions would be really rare), but of course you would have seen many single vehicles attached to a company team, e.g. Gepard AAA, medic, bridgelayer, and whatnot - which are however all combat support units.
