OK had a brief look at the map.

Definition time.

ZWERG = Counterattack codename?

VZL = ?

SL / ANL = ?

zls = ?

Ble = ?

Also haven't a clue as to what the "Triggers" are for (apart from ones like "human controlled") but then again I probably don't need to. :)

I guess we'll learn as we go along.

Also the ground texture looks a bit weird (but then I don't play in the snow much - so it may well be "normal"). :)

But I did see something familiar - an ASLAV ambulance! ;)

VZL = "delay line"...PL during delay ops

SL / ANL = security line or "screen line"/ANL= line where passage of lines takes place

zls = Arty mission> neutralize

Ble = Arty mission> blind

Ok, added explanations on your text...

The triggers are (just) for me to ensure a smooth running of the game...just forget about them ;-)

Well, it seems to resemble frost, rather then snow.

Happens when ground temperature goes below 0°C during the night and water condesates/freezes on ground and plant life

Hope it went well.

I'm afraid no excuse, too many nights with 2 or 3hrs sleep caught up with me and I slept through the alarm.

Think I'd better just forget about these games that start in the middle of the night my time.

May they just had to weld the bore-evac ;-)

Thanx to everybody for joining and a special thanks to Sean for saving the day by hosting!!

My intend was to show a "battle day" not just the move to engagement and thats it.(as in many other SB missions)

Ok, the AAR is in progress.

In the first analysis I have found the 1st "lesson learned".

Lack of coordination around X+50 to X + 60 did cost BRAVO platoon a lot.

I did not order ALPHA clear enough to move forward, so they where standing idle, while BRAVO did not have anyone there to overwhatch their movement over crossing 1.3.

So for me: take more care to coordinate fire AND movement!!

You see BRAVO/CHARLY move into pos north and south of F3...while APLHA is still in the ResR.
