I see, Fliegererkennungstuch -gelb vorne.

What did you use it for?

Given the lack of IFV on the other side, I thougt getting bombed by mistake was not an issue?

The official Answer was, fast identify of our own troops in battle.

But of course for the pilots too.

Thanks for sharing your pics. I'm guessing the one I saw was the "C" model with the extra armour on the turret. I'll have to see if I can find the pic that was taken.
