Gibsonm
Well its one of many TRADOC publications on the web.You can get 167 of them here for US$20:http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage_bfc&product_id=112&category_id=24&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26Description:“Major I. L. Holdridge, creator of TacOps, has taken it upon himself to provide you with a comprehensive and easy to use library of US military Field, Technical, and JCS Manuals. In total, 167 individual manuals have been packed onto one CD-ROM.This library CD is stuffed with diagrams, drawings, charts, tables, and pictures (the JCS publications have many in color). Using the powerful Adobe Acrobat program, the Major's translations of US Military reference material is made 100 times easier to leaf through and find exactly what you need to know.Ever wondered how the United States Army assaults prepared enemy positions? Curious to know why the MLRS weapon system is so powerful? Need some detailed info on the Apache's weapons systems? Want to know what formations are supposed to do what and when? Tac Error
Not sure if this has been cover before but TRADOC Pam 350-16 Heavy OPFOR Tactical Handbook is another source to read.I have an electronic copy but you can go here to download it.http://www.mediafire.com/?6qsspwp35ykglp9Hey:I was the one who uploaded that, actually. Just to place the handbook into context, most of the content was taken directly from a revised volume of FM 100-2-1, Soviet Army Operations and Tactics - with a more complete understanding of Soviet military art over the stereotyped 1984 version - that was ready to be published by 1990, but the US Army wasn't interested in pushing out a new manual on the Soviet Union as it was falling apart.
