The AFVs will have anti matter guns?:debile2:

Eh, no.

Antimatter would be neutralized as soon as it left the barrel.

Lasers, and other Particle Beams as a Main FL Combat Armament would be a vague possiblity, in about 25+ years.

The biggest hang up is energy storage.

Well, don't be naughty then. :wink:

Would a *Ahem* small Bribe loosen the wheels? :)

There will be other nice things in this December's release, so don't worry. It'll be a worthy upgrade, probably the best ever, so far.

Wow !

So that's about 180 nights to sleep before Santa comes through the chimney's.

I know. :)

Just pointing out AM guns would be pointless.

(Can you see what I did there? :biggrin:)

you could use antimatter to propel particles out of a barrel i think. if made the barrel big-bored enough, you could maybe even create a high velocity anti-matter shotgun :P

From what I can tell so far this update sounds great and even if the price is very high I will shell out for it the moment it gets here.:)

it was probably the answer to my question! Before i ask it!

So it will be a payed update?

Do we have to install from scratch if we reinstall.

I mean the first Steel beasts PE and then the updates dvd 2460 and 2538

And then the new one? Or just the new one?

Sorry if this sounds stupid but i have to ask.

Upgrade=paid, Patch=free. Generally Upgrades are standalone. So, you can install it into whatever current version you have, or have a new install altogether. eSim is pretty good when it comes to this kind of stuff.

We've all had those games where you had to install 10 patches in the right order to get up to a current version. And everyone hates that, they do their best to avoid those situations. And usually give you the option of ordering a new DVD for a few extra bucks as well.

So, no worries :)

  • 2 weeks later...
You can expect a 1:1 replacement of the sprites, and then a bit more. (...)

The best ever ... hmm, in my book that would mean:

* functional arty-models (M109 etc)

* third parties (e.g. civilians or another warring faction)

* better bunkers

Just some wishful thinking :-)
