Zipuli
Rogue, those markings would be cool! If possible, upload and post the link I hope they will work for me as I'm using a stone-age photoshop 5... About the russian one, Give me a hint about the russian base green colour and some refs for markings, and I can add all the dirt&net layers in 5 minutes! Only thing is that the added hi-detailing is in the Finn camo-layer, not in the base layer, so it would need to be redone. But it's easy after the one in the Fin camo is done. In this one I just removed some green from the base colour (default skin) and added the layers + guards markings... took 2 minutes Something like this? Or perhaps without the nets? Zipuli
Congo made it an art again While I'll be gone to Berlin have a look of these pics. I thought it was a never ending and boring project started long ago (months ago), but the T-72 tuning gave me inspiration and tonight I did this. It's now to Congo's for some detailing however he sees fit. The skin-file for this one is a bitch as most parts are small stuff and without any shading etc. so hopefully it looks allright. I used photos as ref and hand painted everything - I hope you like the bridge top effect (from photo) as I worked my ass off on that . I will add all the detail to the T-72 and finish the summer version(s) as well as the BLG60M2 (Mt-55 lookalikie) next weekend or later, so stay tuned! Maybe Congo has something ready for the BLG by then! Zip
Zipuli
...and just to be mean some quickies of our work merged. IMO it looks like a war machine and really mean at the same time Some options visible: finnish with nets, finnish with no nets and mud, no markings with light dust. When the pack is ready next weekend you will have even more options to choose from! So hopefully something for everyone. Now need to go packing before my plane leaves Zip Ich bin ein Berliner!

congo
Thanks Rogue I put a lot of time and thought into each skin. I'm starting to believe that shadowing is probably one of the most important aspects that is overlooked when working with the bitmaps and come to think of it probably one of the most time consuming parts of the project. I just wish we had the capability to add three dimensional objects to the models.

RogueSnake79
NP, that site rules doesn't it. I've been dl'n from there for a year or two now. Every once and a while you get a corrupt dl, but I can live with that. About adding to the models. I know a few modelers that started by doing skins. Its something I plan to do in the future, its the obvious next step.
