Scrapper_511
When testing my custom scenarios I like to ride piggy-back on non-playable vehicles and "drive" them around. Question is how do I get said vehicle to engage a particular target? Again, this is for a non-playable vehicle.
Members Ssnake
You can't "force" them. But you may alert them about the presence of some enemy with the Shift+Lase function to "tag" them (Hold Shift and Lase, direct the blinking red star on the target, release the laser button first, then Shift). You can use that also for reconnaissance missions where the player is supposed to detect as many enemy units in a region as possible.
SeanPatrick
What about the "Shoot Here" option?Edit: Just tried. It "sort of" worked. I used the Challenger in a field with 6 APCs. Set the Chally on "hold fire" in the editor, then started the mission. 3 APCs in front spaced about 500m apart, 3 behind the same way. I told the tank to "shoot here" at the right-most APC in front. He shot the middle one. Then I told him to "shoot here" at an APC behind him. He didn't want to listen, so I slewed the tank around myself and he obeyed. I'm guessing the "shoot here" option is mainly for machine gun suppression?
