Grenny
Ah good to see that the guy we rely on (and the whole plan hinges on) for fire support hasn't got a clue about AFV recognition. Gibsonm, as we say: Artillery does not know friend or foe...only targets of different value.
Gibsonm
Gibsonm, as we say: Artillery does not know friend or foe...only targets of different value. Absolutely, but this is the guy calling the fire in (i.e. determining whether to fire or not), not the projectiles in mid flight.
Gibsonm
Only thing I have to mention is do I need 4 FO Vehicles? Well in theory 6: 1 at BG HQ and one each at: -US (M1A1(HA) + M2)-DK (Leo2A5 + CV9035) -SE (StrV 122 +CV9040) -UK (CR2 + Pizzaro as Warrior placeholder) -1 AT-platoon(tankhunters ;-) ) and then we have the anchor OPs, etc. too. Or Am I getting Help? No idea.
Brun
My Company of M1's up front to meet a Force many times Our number. Friendly units heading West through My lines to avoid the Soviet crush. Nervous Gunners scanning like hell Id'ing every new movement on the horizon to avoid frats. Enemy artillery likely to make Our area of the battlefield uninhabitable for man or machine. I feel like I've lived this scenario in a previous SB life time Just East of Minden. I will be able to make it on the 6th to go over things.
Gibsonm
Just as long as you let my guys (assuming I end up in the CR2 Sqn) have their tea and scones, it will be fine.

Darling, ashured me that the General took great care in planning for this battle according to the grand masterplan ;-)

Grenny
I did, probably why they went under. :biggrin:No, not really, waaaay too young.Anyway I shall have a look see at this preplan of a plan.Only thing I have to mention is do I need 4 FO Vehicles?Or Am I getting Help?Well, the 4 FO veh. are in mainly for ORBAt reasons. It looks better ;-)Only if we had too much players, we could man more arty vehicles.Right now they are all yours. You'd only need one, but hey if you fuck one up...Or, if you are a bit shizo, they you can play the FSO and all the FOs in one person ;-)

Gibsonm
Your biggest challenge is going to be moving from one week being in a T-72 and the next shooting at a T-72.

Well, you just have to check if it has a blue-white cockade on the turret. If not, Shoot it!! edit: And that will be possible at the range where I'm able to hit anything with the T-72 :-P
Hedgehog
Absolutely, but this is the guy calling the fire in (i.e. determining whether to fire or not), not the projectiles in mid flight. Well I'm of the opinion: If it has a red map icon (and no blue ones are near): Kill it. If one needs to use one's LRF, things are generally not as they should be. But I shall live dangerously for this one. Just so long as I have the rest of the company uh "Engaging" the enemy in a not so friendly dialog.
