As is seen on the attached screenshot, the 2.7m stadia reticle is not calibrated correctly. The target is Leo2 and is showing 1km error (3km instead of 2km)

Well, a Leo 2 is only 2.25m high (2.70m for M60...), so that alone explains 500m difference in the distance (2500m vs 3000m - or 2400m vs 2000m, depending on where you start and which vehicle your reference is). And incidentally it DOES seem to line up just nicely with the 2500m mark...?

SBP wiki says 2.7m, other sources even state 3m height for Leo2 ...

I was wrong, but so are the wiki and other sources in this context. 2.25m is the depth for deep-fording, which leaves some 50cm safety margin (including the commander's hatch insert).

What should be considered for statia line range estimations - they aren't called "measurement", and for a reason - are the main roof heights. It may be more than 2.50m in some places, but at 2.5km range you simply can't see the peri or other minor equipment clear enough to use it for lining things up in a sight.

while it may seem to line up to 2.5km it does not Ssnake.. it's 3km aligned properly.

In that screenshot, it looks more like 2.5km to me. Don't forget that there can be quantization errors as the stadia lines can be drawn only where you actually have pixels. If the 2.5km line is drawn half a pixel width below its optimal position, and the 3km line is half a pixel width above where you'd find it in reality, things can get a bit difficult if they are a mere three pixel height units apart.
