Skybird03
I have updated my showcase "scenario" for 2.640. It now includes all the new vehicles. It is for quick visual inspection of all vehicles and their currently installed skins. It comes in three versions, for woodland/summer, winter, and tropical/desert. To be found under SP Missions, Easy, page 7 I think, once the mods approved. It is no playable mission, just a static presentation of all vehicles there are.
Scrapper_511
Thanks! With the growing inventory of awesome hardware I was just thinking, some day SB should have an object viewer.Looking forward to checking out your creation. Thanks for sharing!

Members Retro
Hrm could you check that zip? It seems that it includes the 2.538 versions?
Skybird03
:eek2:I checked it and - yes, it is the old files. That is strange, for the old ones were not even on my PC anymore when I put the new versions into a ZIP and transmitted them - since I do complete file backups twice a month on USB sticks, the old files were simply overwritten after editing them. I havbe only the three new files on board currently, and checked them 10 Minutes ago in the editor: they are the new ones for sure.Something must have gone wrong when they created the updated download file description after sending them. Old file under new file label. See, the title of the file says version 2.0 and 2.640 for sure. The old version is still there as an old link (version 1.0). But this link and the download link to the new 2.0 version both lead to the old 1.0 file.I have no clue what that is about. Could any mod clear that up, please? Again, the old versions of the files were existing only on a disconnected USB stick when I formed the ZIP and send it, and I have only the 2.0 versions on my PC now, no duplicates anywhere on HD. I'm sure I sent the correct zipped files. You can see on the screenshot that also the new file versions were photographed, since the whole parking arrangement had been re-arranged. I zip and send again now, naming it 2.1.Edit:Done. I also deleted version 1.0, it should not show up anymore. I will delete 2.0 (which includes the 1.0 files) as well once the download link is up. GO FOR SOMETHING NUMBERED AS 2.1Sorry for the inconvenience. But I really have no clue what went wrong.
Skybird03
At least congo's question now has a completely new meaning for me. :biggrin:Edit. I still had the ZIP file I send yesterday in the bin, and recycled it, then checking it. It included the new files for sure. Whatever went wrong, it happened after sending the ZIP.

Checked the download, it seems to work now. I assume that in the interface somehow the new file'S name got just "stamped" over the existing old file and then copied into the new file'S place. That way it became the old file under the new file'S name linked up. Or my USB sticks now communicates wireless with my PC via telepathy. Everybody: sorry for the inconvenience. The dark side of the Force has just struck back, you see.
Alicatt
Nice work, thanks One thing though, as soon as you open the scenario the supply trucks start doing their thing and load the vehicles up with fuel and ammo
Skybird03
Nice work, thanksOne thing though, as soon as you open the scenario the supply trucks start doing their thing and load the vehicles up with fuel and ammo Best way to use this "scenario" (it isn't a scenario, is it), is to run it via preview in the mission editor. That way you also can skim and hover at any altitude.
Gibsonm
One thing though, as soon as you open the scenario the supply trucks start doing their thing and load the vehicles up with fuel and ammo Must be a bug. In my experience "doing their thing" is having a smoke, looking at porn, anything but actually refueling / replenishing vehicles.

Gibsonm
Cheers, The other option of course is the "super diligent" mechanic or loggie. "No the vehicle isn't taskworthy because the XYZ widget (which has nothing to do with cbt operations) is broken. I don't care how many Russians are coming over the hill." And of course: "You can't have that, somebody else might need it".

Yupp, we had Dingos grounded in AFG 'cos they failed the exhaust-test (they produced more dirt then would be permissable by EU-norm) 8-)
Skybird03
Cobrabase, nice video you did! Thank you. Just found it by chance at eSim'S youtube channel right now. I also became aware of the problem with it: I always entered the museum from within the editor, and thus there was no movement and vehicles starting to move and cuasing traffic jams, same for the soldiers. It simply never came to my mind that one maybe would not enter the scenario via the editor, but via the normal mission selection screen. In the future, when a new SBP version gets released in a year or so, and I update this exhibition scnerio once again with new equipement, I will take care of that and disable their engines, to prevent that unwanted violation position orders.
