Superbus
Didn't find this in Wiki so here goes:Does the player always have to be BLUE when playing against the AI? My problem is that I have many nice scenarios with T-72M1's on the red side. Now I want to turn the scenario around and drive the T-72 myself. Do I really have to delete all forces and place them again so that all red forces are blue and vice versa? That is, build the mission again from scratch? What gives?
Administrators Sean Posted December 17, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 17, 2011 If you run the mission in the editor, you can play both sides.
Superbus
That's true, Sean. Thanks.I also realized I can host a multiplayer session and play alone. Apparently there is no way to design an ordinary "Offline session" to be played as red?
Members Ssnake
Well, firing up multiplayer and then choose a red unit as the sole participant essentially amounts to the same as a singleplayer mission. The biggest question of course is whether the Blue side is suitably scripted.

Koen
The biggest question of course is whether the Blue side is suitably scripted. If you want a taste of this, Superbus, well the Rothenkirchen CPX-scenario was designed specifically with the aim to be played from both Blue side (-> Red scripted) & Red side (-> Blue scripted) = massive amount of work :-)http://www.steelbeasts.com/Downloads/p13_sectionid/268/p13_fileid/1359I'll upload a version of North German Plain 85 with some more Blue scripting.
Members Ssnake
Also, the "Heroes of Hohenfels" scenario ("HoH Pt. I") can be played from both sides.
