Cutter
Why isnt that funktion in the game on the Leo2a5?? it is used for tracking a stationairy target, while moving, meaning it is calculating own vehicle movement. I found the button in game, but it can not be pressed.
W@NKER
dynamic lead working fine here......I'm not sure what you mean by it can't be pressed
dejawolf
rücksteurung isn't dynamic lead, thats dynamische vorhalt (i think)rücksteurung is a range reduction function when your vehicle is moving which automatically reduces the LRF range based on how far you've driven from the spot that you lased the target from. so if you drive 150m towards the enemy, the LRF range is reduced by 150m.and its currently unimplemented in Sb.a similar feature is found on the T-72 and CV90.
Members Ssnake
Well, somehow we never got to actually implement it though chances aren't bad that it'll happen this year, finally.
oscar19681
Is something simular also on the real m1a1/m1a2?
Members Ssnake
Not that I have heard of. I think the reason for this is the lack of a sensor for its own vehicle speed that is wired as an input into the ballistic computer (think of the Leo 1 where it doesn't have that sensor either, so you need to press dynamic lead all the time when either you or the target is moving). In most cases this is "good enough". But of course Rücksteuerung increases the hit likelihood a little bit more.
3Star
No.I thought SB did model it in the CV90, though.NTM

Members Ssnake
I'll accept a second name for both, e.g. "Steele" and "Beastie". You decide who gets to be "Beastie".
