dpabrams
Been working up a stable of old school CGF units for my usual early-mid 80's scenarios. I have universally tried to get the colors close for all the units. Some units like the new BMP's have recieved vision block glass, new road wheels and engine grill covers. The T72M1 has been modded to represent the last version by adding anti-radiation cladding to the turret. I just can't do the additional storage box like you would see on the late production T-72A. Also decals were added to represent Soviet units.

dpabrams
Spent most of the day pimping the Shilka. The usual glass, road wheels and a bunch of photo splices for greater detail.

dpabrams
Just uploaded the BMP-2: This version has had some color work done and decals placed on the vehicle. Most notable is the resin anti-radiation cladding added to the turret and hatches. Vision block and sight glass has been added as well as intake covers, new filter and road wheels. Some mapping issues have also been corrected.

dpabrams
Again great job dpabrams. I've been using only your mods because they look great. And in return could you do a scenario say, circa 1982-83 featuring a US ACAV unit fielding M1's, M113's and M901's? The Cav platoon had 4 M1's, 3 M113 scouts and 2 M901's, but you know that. The ACAV unit would be a platoon or squadron fighting a delaying action against againt either a Soviet company or battalion level force. The Soviets would have a recon element with BRDM's and artillery support. The Soviets would have T-72/T-72M/T-72M1's and BMP-1/2's. Conditions would be daylight and in the Fulda area. The Soviets may even have helo support and battalion level artillery support. Perhaps the US would have artillery in proportion to unit size with a FISTV and even FASCAM. Just a thought.
Gibsonm
We fought something very similar what 2 weeks ago in TGIF. A search for "Head to Red-Deliberate Defense 01-85A-T_640" might yield what you want (need to swap the M2s for M113s and you should be right to go). Don't know if Red is scripted as it was played by people on the night. Head to Red-Deliberate Defense 01-85A-T_640.zip

dpabrams
Soviet style T-72M, mid 80's. The usual improvements and an air identification cross on the turret.

Just a thought.I'm working on a scenario called "Battle for Hunfeld" where the first part is the 11ACR delaying action against the Soviets then the second part is where elements of the 3rd Brigade, 3rd Armored Division defends the town of Hunfeld and depending on the outcome will counterattack or have to withdraw to fight another day.

JohnO
Quick question about the CCCP vehicles. I probally know the answer but want to ask anyway Can there be two BMP-1s with differant decals on them, eg Soviet and DDR symbols.
Members Ssnake
Can there be two BMP-1s with differant decals on themYes, as long as they are on different sides. Not so if they both belong to Blue (or Red).

Wicked
Very nice re-skinning. Love the small details added. Any chance you continue with BRDM's and support units? Also your Canadian re-skins look great.

I have BRDM's and BTR 80's in the download section. I still want to finish a 2S1 and its almost there. I like the Soviets trucks and MTLB's as they are.
