Also, i think the CR2 in SB is a good example of a modern vehicle that is playable with very little switchology. (which can be added over time as information becomes available) Well Scorpion at least had two different sight units, one for natural light and a separate eyepiece for II. So for it at least you are now talking about modelling two views. But apart from that I agree with Grenny, we'll get what eSim provides and it may, or may not match personal preference.

Marko
More upgraded variants of the T-62 family Experimenting with the upgraded T-55 variants in game has shown me just how more combat effective even an older generation tank can be. The m variant of the T-62 would be a good addition. Also there's some pretty decent upgrades for the BMP family the BMP-1P It has smoke discharges a better ATGM and armour improvements Edited April 16, 2017 by Marko

I prefer to have a wide selection of vehicles available and I don't care if they have playable crew positions or not. I use Steel Beasts without using those positions and enjoy it immensely. I have never played DCS : combined arms, but a quick look at their web page gives me the feeling of inferiority to Steel Beasts. ofcs its inferior, as i said, no interiors

We can use the T series but they have their own indigenous equipment. Same with APC's. North Korea, we have T-62, BTR-50 etc. but nothing specific to NK. We do have the uniforms Just gives the sim more flavour to use country specific equipment. I'm talking as OPFOR of course. A lot of there earlier model T types are direct copies of soviet tanks. They did fit a 105mm gun on the type 85 i think it was. I spoke to a guy in bovington who evaluated one while in military service and reckons it was the dogs bollocks his words not mine. He was a member of the Museum staff so i had no reason to disbelieve him.

Or what they call an M2002. If we had the Chinese YW531 we would also have the NK VTT 323 APC Would still need something like ZBL-09 for China for more modern stuff. Maj.Hans
Crewable Merkava and M1 TTB. Model what we know, take a best-guess about what we don't, admit openly in the manual that certain details were not publicly available and so were not accurately modeled but rather a best-guess was implemented.

Bond_Villian
I reckon the PT 76 and Scorpion being crewable to some extent would be a lot of fun. Or any of the existing vehicles really

So has the 4 in Lebanon 2006, with few damaged. In fact some of the propaganda at the time showed a Magach on it's side, claiming it was a knocked out Merkava 5. I have gone to try and find the stats for the Merkava performance, can't locate those figures at the moment. But I have confirmed that the 4 entered service in 2002.
