Well then just hit the "B" key.

Or did I miss something?

I was thinking more along the lines of my entire platoon, both loader and commander... Sometimes moving into a city where insurgents are likely hidden in buildings warrants not 'hanging' out of your copula, especially if you have a peri and they have missiles or rockets. It can be healthy to be buttoned up prior to taking fire.

Just because there isn't a button in the Mission Editor to say "place 15KT blast here" as some sort of mega IED, doesn't mean you can't replicate its effects.

LOL

I guess if you wanted the immersion you could find a way to mod the 500lb airstrike smoke cloud. (Not sure if it is, its probably related to game engine code.) But that would probably give the appearance of every fixed wing asset within a 50 nm radius as being disproportionately armed.

Or you could mod the sky texture to have a 'shroom cloud on the horizon?

No. But feel free to don a gas mask while playing, if it helps with your immersion.

*Rummages*

Ah, here we are. Smells rubbery.

Well again with a bit of thinking you can replicate these with penalty zones now.

Sure you wont get the flash, overpressure and mushroom cloud graphics (not that there would be much point as your role in the scenario would end pretty much straight away if you were too close to any of those three), but you can certainly create penalty zones that inflict X% casualties on dismounts and a smaller damage % on AFV that you can activate by event/trigger/condition.

Those %s can rise as you get closer to wherever ground zero was.

Similarly you can have the zone only active for a certain period to reflect non persistent agents, etc.

well, the big explosion was not the point, I was more thinking about the limited visibility imposed by the bottoned up position that the crew would have to endure, especially in low tech tanks without decent periscope. Currently, AI crews automatically unbotton whenever we leave the vehicle, as far as we are not under fire, which, if course, significantly improves situation awareness.

More types of infantry weapons IE GPMG/PKM/Sniper teams. I have asked before

But mortar teams would be a great addition. Also the ability to and specialist teams

To a standard APC/IFV. infantry load out. I know it can be done at the moment.

But it slightly cumbersome.

All great suggestions that I've also put forward previously (excepting sniper teams). I also know fragmentation grenades for the infantry have been requested by others, particularly for building clearance.

Last night after a BG ANZAC session I also thought about the addition of under-barrel grenade launchers for the infantry (not sure why...) to give them a bit more reach / punch, particularly versus other infantry. The 40 mm explosive effect has already been modelled for the AGL so wondered how much additional programming would be required to add it to the infantry AI, Mission Editor etc. It's by no means a show stopper for me but just thought I would add it as a "wish" to the Wish List (a bit like writing a letter to Santa Claus as a kid I guess :D).

Nice it even comes with a carrying handle and some kind of robot arm thingy so baby can still play with the toys.

The thingy on the side?

That's the Air Pump.

So, I'm slightly concerned that they are not being worked by the nurses.

Well that's why its here.

If its a good idea I'm sure Ssnake get out his note pad and adds it to the_List.

**ALL Hail the_List!!**

Not sure if this is possible.in game

Or if this is done by the real world military if two platoon have taken casualty's

could we have the ability to regroup the units that have taken casualty's and make a new full strenth platoon

While the mission is still active
