Members Ssnake
WRT the deadzone adjustment, that would be at odds with a new feature which I haven't mentioned yet, I think. In the Leopard 2A4 (and a handful of other vehicles, the Warrior comes to my mind) in Beobachten mode the gunner's control handle operates directly the hydraulic valves for turret power steering. These valves require a fair bit of muscle juice to operate, and then the movement is sudden, and rapid. So we increased the deadzone for both mouse and joystick. You'll have to go all the way without anything happening, and then all of a sudden the turret will jerk left or right. That's not a bug, it's intentional. You won't like it, but neither do the soldiers. Just so you know.

I mean adjustable deadzone for our controllers, not for the vehicles themselves, so that if we've got sticks that send inputs to the game when they should be centered, we can filter this out. It shouldn't conflict at all with the simulation of a large deadzone on the simulated hardware.

Maj.Hans
Wouldn't mind one of these crewable. Yom Kippur campaign anyone? I'd be up for it. However, in order to represent the complete array of vehicles, we would need something from the Syrian army... Just imagine if Pro PE had a WW2 version... Eisenschwein
Just imagine if Pro PE had a WW2 version... A Sd.Kfz 161 Pzkfw IV Ausf. J mid Production of late 1944 ?? It would be not fair to let him fight against a Centurion......that was build against Tiger Tanks but come to late..... WW2 Tank Simulation ? That would be to "comercial" for esim

That would be to "comercial" for esim IIRC they eventually determined that it was some kind of an H/J hybrid. The Syrians had a couple that were dug in, and saw a bit of use against the Israelis.

Maj.Hans
If possible, in the future:A "berm" object that can be placed either in the mission editor or map editor to represent a berm built by pushing up dirt. Something that can be used to create hull down firing positions as an alternative to the vehicle emplacements, and possibly even be plowed over in placed by having a suitable equipped vehicle drive through it with a dozer blade or a mine plow.

Azure Lion
I think the addendum on my wish list would be to have more 3-D interiors, even if it's just the crude ones like are shown in the Gallery. To me that makes a big difference! The other would be the continued work on weather effects, such that we would actually see the precipitation of rain and snow. One other wish is for the eSim crew to take a week or two vacation with their families after 3.0 comes out. I know they worked their butts off for 3.0, and they need some time to grow them back... uncomfortable to sit with no butt for added cushioning.

Azure Lion
Psh, foliage? If you want good camouflage for a tank, you need a really big cardboard box for it. The enemy would never suspect.
