cata
New skins for British 16th Air Assault Bde the 3rd Battalion Parachute Regiment with Multi-cam or MTP uniform and Osprey mk4 body armor and NVG straps on helmets. These shots still use the US 2000 model in order to use the NVG mounts. Will make a set without NVGs and will also make a Mec inf Brit unit and upload the skins. Due to the odd nature of the way the helmet folds its very difficult to get the back of the helmet right.

cata
Ok some more helmet versions for UK Mec Inf 4th ARM Bde, both with and without netting, as a lot of UK troops have taken to scrimming helmets. Will try uploading to the download section tomorrow.
NickMow
RED ON ! Epic job Cata, thanks for these !Any thoughts on the skin for the Steyr ? I've tried putting an L85 colour scheme on it but the edited dds file didn't seem to show in game ? (placed in the default Woodland folder and the Mods/Woodland folder)
majorgendad
Brilliant! Love the Guards colors on the shoulder patch. One comment: I'm noticing that the Air Assault helmets, with the netting strip roughly approximating the bottom edge of UK helmets, looks very much like the real deal. This is especially the case when the area below the strip blends in with the uniform or terrain. This seems a nice work-around for the helmet shape until an accurate model comes along. I hope this helmet style will remain an option.

Werewolf
 Dumb question but shouldn't those troops be toting L3A1 rifles instead of M-16's?
Members Ssnake
There's a finite amount of 3D modeling capacity in the team. For the moment, UK troops will have to carry M-16s. Besides, there simply are no functional differences in SB between different assault rifles of the same caliber/cartridge type. And why should we bother - it doesn't matter which assault rifle can't threaten you while you're inside an armored vehicle - and outside, any rifle can do you harm, even the smallest one.I've never understood the obsession of some people (not looking at anyone in particular) with small arms. They're just that, small arms. Fun starts with caliber 100mm and above.

Tacbat
Fun starts with caliber 100mm and above. True, but owning those as a private citizen is a little...challenging.
