dpabrams
Finishing up another project that is getting me closer to completing a nice OOB with all the available and necessary kit, for the US ARMY, circa 1985. Why you ask do I have this obsession with 1985? Well, I was a freshman in college with an art school girlfriend and Coors was $5.50 a twelve pack. Ronald Reagan was President and I had never heard of child support. New Wave was still around and the hair bands were just around the corner, but I digress. Been working on the HMMVW, adding a bunch of details, the usual stuff. Initially they were delivered in forest green but some were painted in MERDC before the 3 color CARC came around in 86-87. New grill, tires, doors, hood and much more. As I work on the 1025 and 998 you have to appreciate some of the work that was original. The TOW unit model and skins cannot be improved on. It is simply amazing!

Magnum50
damn nice skins...and thanks. Ya, 1985 was a good year... graduated HS and started my 10 plus years military service... 85 was rough with basic training and my first station... Germany... but every year after that was the greatest in my life.
