How do I hide waypoint ends?

Welp, I searched wiki.. I tried "route tags" and still scratching my head..

How do I "hide" the ending points (X) on waypoints of yet to spawn vehicles?

Sorry..such a newb!! Honest..I searched wiki and manual and must be missing it.. as usual.. :Crash:

There once was an option to right-click a waypoint and select to make it invisible. I think there is a bug now preventing this option. You can make a unit computer-owned before you add any routes. Then the new routes will be invisible by default. Afterwards you can return the ownership from computer to player, or "player, if..."

Thanks for the answer. The workaround doesnt allways seem to work for waypoints. Would be great if we could hide them regardless of who is the owner at some point in the future. If you randomize spawns for player controlled units it clutters the map with waypoints that will likely never play any role in the mission.
