Members Ssnake
There's SB Pro PE for you.
Malakie
There's SB Pro PE for you. Yea but for someone like me, it is to expensive. I am a disabled US military veteran on a VERY limited VA disability pension and there is just no way I can afford the cost at the current price. I have been waiting for the consumer version release but from what I am reading, that is a long way off now, if ever. So I can no longer play Steel Beasts at all since the graphics do not work correctly on vista and I cannot purchase SBProPE. Any chance of a patch to fix the video issue on Vista of the original? Members Ssnake
No, I'm sorry. SB1 is a discontinued product, we cannot maintain the old code and work on new versions at the same time.
GH_Lieste
Have you considered adding an old discarded HDD and installing win98/95 as a dual boot system? Or indeed a discarded/obselete PC box and sharing your existing monitor and keyboard. Companies can get tax breaks on donated computer equipment, so it might be worth keeping an ear open. My local college also gave away a lot of old machines when it updated its IT facilities recently.

Homer
Yes, it's ok to post links as long as it is relevant (and legal) to what is being discussed.
Eihort
www.surpluscomputers.comBought from these guys and had no problems at all. Although, unless you're the type of person who knows enough to build systems from parts, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. You're likely to not get any documentation or anything with some of this stuff, or even an Operating System in some cases.
