DirectX10 or vista

All Vista users cannot avoid having DirectX 10 installed. But SB Pro PE can't use it, so DirectX 9.0c of a recent version must be installed parallel. Since many DirectX components are treated as a part of the operating system, Vista virtualizes them during the installation process so that applications requiring DirectX 9.0c will be made believe that this is the environment in which they're working while Vista as such still uses DirectX 10 - and reports it.
