daskal
Are there any plans to put into the SIM further preset movement orders for the AI to expand on the current set of orders / possibilities? (like march / assault / scout / retreat etc.) Like I can think of one that would come in real handy when moving through urban enviroments, and that is to engage the enemy but to stay on the route that the player has set for the units and not deviate from them. e.g: units are moving through urban area, moving along the road, engaging from there but once they spot an enemy they won't deviate from the route and go inbetween the buildings, but keep steady on the damn road
GH_Lieste
Breach works best in constrained terrain and with enemy presence.Only proviso is that ploughs and rollers are not recommended if you want to use it as a tactical movement option.

GH_Lieste
You might also need to split the formations into sections, rather than hoping that a 4 tank platoon will make it through...
Eisenschwein
Keep the Routes short and give them a minimum of one alternate Route on every Waypoint, a "withdraw if" Route and couple them with Randomness, voila !
Members Ssnake
To answer the original question - yes, the thought of additional movement tactics crossed our minds. Even more so, there's actually some related development activity. Can't say however how quickly it'll be mature enough to be made available to the general public.
