Um Saad- Anyone want a map project.

I have uploaded another map to demonstrate the building population technique. This is the Northern border region between Egypt and Libya. This would make a suitable mapping project for someone as all it needs is some polishing. File links will be added when they are approved.

Looks very good. I've been wanting to begin the process of learning to make maps. This might be my ticket tutorial.

Where do I have to put this files?

I extracted .hgt to height folder, ter. to terrain folder, but didn't find any Um-Saad revised or Um-Saad small map in the mission editor. Only the old Um-Saad without buildings.

Make sure it didn't create folders.

I'm afraid, it didn't.

Now I have:

#umSaad_Small_1c3.ter file in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\maps\terrain

UmSaad_Small.hgt file in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\maps\height

But no map in the editor.

The name of the map is starting from #, and I was searching for the Um-Saad...
