Hetzer
Hi guys, how to choose the joystick (which i want to use ingame) in settings menu?Due to using other simulations (like DCS:A-10, Cliffs of Dover etc.) i have many inputs installed at my system (pedals, throttles joysticks and some BU0836. Now i´m trying to set up my homemade joystick for Steelbeasts with integrated Leo-Bodnar-BU0836-board but in Steelbeasts settings only my Logitech G940 joystick (which i don´t want to use) will be recognized. Why is there no way to "choose" between all installed input devices? Is there a way to edit manually any .ini file or something to set up the devices?RegardsHetzer
Gibsonm
You need to set whatever the device you want to use as your "primary input device" (or somesuch) in Windows. But in general the simpler the setup, the better.
Administrators Sean Posted July 15, 2012 Administrators Share Posted July 15, 2012 Yes, make sure it's the first controller in the list in the controller applet in the control panel.
Hetzer
Can anyone plz tell me how to exactly place a joystick into "first place" in windows? Didn´t do that before, because it never was neccessary for any of my games... Hope that all of my other programs do not get controller-issues when shifting to different order in windows itself. Programmers should urgent fix this in Steelbeast´s menue because it is very unusual and not up-to-date to shifting arround with controllers in windows... I attached screenie of my controller applet maybe it helps Regards Hetzer
