Jartsev
According to some reports russians are currently experimenting with new unit structures. Its known, that one of tested structures for infantry company includes:-CO IFV-4 infantry platoons(4 BMP-2 each)-2 SPM placeholders(BMP-1)-1 ARV-2 PRP(rough equivalent of FIST-V)There is also known proposed change for mentioned structure:-1 infantry platoon eliminated-ARV eliminated-armored MEDEVAC added-added C3 vehicle to support BMS operation.Quite funny to see, how russians are trying to adopt some old US ideas...

I agree that in theory elimination of the fourth platoon and ARV would seem to make this a more manageable organisation. Are you aware of any proposed changes to the tank company structure?

Finalized version will replace current TOEs, but this depends from availability of new equpment(procured as unit kits).Tank company looks unchanged- still "classic" 10 vehicles, but battalion probably will have 4 tank coys instead current 3; second tank may be added to battalion HQ; proposed tank battalion will have support platoon, consisting of 5 ARVs.

Those tank companies may even have the company number upped to 5...?
