Werewolf Posted October 20, 2012 Share Posted October 20, 2012 I remember when all graphics were done with ASCII characters back in the old TRS-80 days.IIRC the very 1st MS Flight Simulator was done that way circa '82 or so.We've come a long way baby.One can't help but wonder where and how games will be presented 20 years from now. I rember reading an article back in 1960 which suggested that by the year 2000 we would be able to buy cassettes (well it was 1960) containing complete virtual lives that you could experience in a single evening - as an relief from the drudgery of your real existence.
